Removing dangerous and congested level crossings is hungry work.

And it takes a lot of chicken and chips to get the job done right.

The Hot Bird in Cheltenham has been staying open until past 2am, seven nights a week.

They’re keeping hungry tradies fed with more than 60kg of fried chicken a week – and some workers eat here every single day.

So far we’ve removed over 35 level crossings in Victoria, and there’s plenty more to come.

But we are  sure there’ll be enough chips and gravy to get them all done.
